Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 11, 2026

CueLoop is an offline-first Android app that runs recurring reminder cues on your device and, when supported, mirrors cue notifications to a Wear OS watch. Its core features work without an account or sign-in. This policy explains what data is processed, how it is used, and your choices.

1. Summary

2. Information We Process

Reminder data stored on your device: cue names, intervals and cadence, active-hours windows, cue mode (sound, vibration, screen flash), chosen sounds, theme/preference flags, and purchase entitlement state. This is stored locally so the app can run your configured cue loops and restore your preferences.

Notifications & alarms: CueLoop uses notifications, exact-alarm scheduling, and a foreground service so cues arrive on time. On some devices it offers guidance to enable notifications, exact alarms (Android 12+) or battery-optimization exclusions.

Wear OS mirroring: if you use Wear OS mirroring, reminder notifications are relayed through standard Android notification mechanisms to compatible wearable devices.

3. Permissions Used

4. In-App Purchases

CueLoop offers an optional one-time Pro unlock via Google Play Billing. Payment processing is handled by Google; we do not receive your full payment card details. Purchase tokens/entitlement state are stored to unlock purchased features. A Weekly Free Day also unlocks Pro features one day each week at no cost.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers needed to run platform functionality, such as Google Play Billing (for purchases) and Firebase services (described below).

6. Anonymous Usage Analytics & Crash Diagnostics

CueLoop uses Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand app stability and which features people use — for example, how many people use screen-flash cues, or whether a purchase completes. This is tied to a random per-install identifier, not your name, email, or account, and is never sold. We do not send your reminder content or payment details to Firebase. See Firebase privacy and Google privacy.

7. Data Deletion

CueLoop does not collect or store your personal data on our own servers. All app data is stored locally on your device. To remove it, clear the app's storage/data from Android settings, or delete/uninstall the app.

8. Children's Privacy

CueLoop is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will be published with an updated effective date.
